How to connect a psp to a wireless network

Connecting your psp can be  a vital element to getting the most out of your psp, to find out how to connect your psp to a wireless network then use the tutorial below.

Step 1) Turn on your psp and flick the wifi switch to the on-position (located on the side of the psp)

Step 2) Scroll to settings on your psp navigation, scroll down to the bottom and press x on the network setup option, now click the network settings option

Step 3) You will be given a few options here select the Infrastructure mode and press x, you will be taken to a new screen click on the create a new connection option.

Step 4) Enter a name for this network (If your at home then just name it “home”!) now select the option scan to look for your wifi network.

Step 5)Select your wifi’s SSID and enter your WEP KEY (if you have one). In the network settings option select the easy option to obtain your network IP.

Step 6) Now confimr all the settings and test your internet connection

Step 7) Once the connection has been tested and works you can now browse the web on your psp!

    what exactly is a SSID and where do i find it? on the back of the router?

    Your SSID should atomatically be obtained! If it isnt then sometimes its on the back of your touer like if your with orange it should be. The definition of SSID can be found here;
